Biography
The band that is now known as The Green Tea Theory were formed by keyboardist Graeme Henry and guitarist Daniel Ramjattan, two drifters in search of musicians to play with. In their plight they found at the end of the dark tunnel Edvan Auyon (drummer), Tanner Trachsel (rythm guitar) and Garrett Schliewinsky(bass) for a short time (who left the band due to a conflict of interests). The band eventually recruited Emma Hefkey on bass and formed "Blood Diamond". Unfortunately Emma, too, left the band. Daniel Ramjattan (the lead guitarist at the time) decided to take up bass, playing Trachsel's bass backwards, and Graeme was moving away from the keys towards vocals and starting preforming under the name Mosaik. By the end of the summer, their sound changed dramatically, and even more so as Ramjattan purchased a left handed bass (that he could actually play) and Tanner purchased the famed Saul Les Paul, as they called themselves Closet Case. By then, Trachsel took up the role of lead guitarist, and Henry moved away from keyboard on onto full time vocals. With his crazy antics and sensual lyrics Henry brought forth new energy to the band. When Graeme touched the microphone for the first time, there was a shining light and God said it was the way to lead the people. "it was like Arther lifting the sword from the stone, except it was a microphone and your name is Graeme." It was at this point that they started making their current songs, and since then they've progressed much more rapidly. They then decided to change the name to In Transition, to accentuate the fact that their sound is ever-evolving. In Transition were also witnessed pwning ass at the Winterfest battle of the bands on January 27th, winning second place to the almighty Dancefloor Refraction. Unfortunately, the band discovered another band with the name In Transition with a major label shortly after their victory. Grudgingly the members decided to change the name to Ivory Sands, then Foreign Spawn. Then they realized... thats fucked. Graeme Henry came up with the name that would bring happiness to them forever...The Green Tea Theory. They recently had the craziest turnout of their lives on the 16th of February when they fucking TORE THE HOUSE APART at the cafe esmeralda. They are now booked for a battle of the bands on Friday, April 4th at the Music Hall Lounge, London.
