Great show everyone! Ya the weather was bad but it didn't stop the bands from rockin' the Elmo. I know it was a battle of the bands but the vibe between everyone was totally positive... no attitude! Thanks to all of you ,and Supernova for giving the bands a place to showcase our talents. Absolute Zero... you guys have a raw, rockin' sound. Sorry that you don't feel that you get the recognition you deserve, but trust me, it's far easier to critique others music than your own. Every parent thinks their kid is the best looking in the class photo, if you know what I mean. I don't think you should throw in the towel. Play music because you love it... and need to. Just because you didn't place in the top three doesn't mean your not good. Go to a bikini contest and tell me that the chicks who didn't win are ugly..... no way. We all have stenghths and weakness.... that's what makes you original!

6 on a snowstorm??..we've had 3 fans on a wondrous summer evening we've had 4 fans on a bright spring day. weather doesn't make a difference with uswe suck. 9 shows..not even a 2nd or 3rd place.when will we be recognized.never i play my guitar probably 4-5 hours a day.too much time spent for too little.we just wanna smile and say ya. someone likes us.i mean. we watched the worst bands..and i mean TERRRIBLE.. bands rise above usdoes that mean were wrong?yes it does.we have failed ourselves, and our time spent creating will never be reimbursed.....sigh...

Common dude...I know the supernova thing can be pretty daunting at times...but if you give up then all is for nothing. I know it totally sucks to play last but you gotta understand that pretty much everyone had a crappy crowd that night.. We had only 6 actually show up... so try not to get down.. Theres plenty of other outlets to play shows... The North by Northeast deadline is coming up (jan 31)... or Emergenza.net is another one you can try. However it always will boil down to ticket and cd sales.... its unfortunate but thats the way it is... I'm with toothless pirhanas... Don't give up!

Hey Absolute Zero. We heard your music. Your music is hardcore Rock n' Roll and it's awesome! Your opinion about the music business today is quite understandable. All we have to say, is never give up. We're no one to give you advice but here's the truth. There's no giving up in music dudes. You play and write because you love it and you make friends who stick around to hear you. That's WINNING!We really do hope you stick around to change the music scene. In the mean time best of luck with everything..Later

First off, Congradu-FUCKIN-lations to the Winners. I saw all 3 sets. NOT BAD AT ALLAHEM!....We have played 9 shows and haven't won once. Does this mean we suck?YES, both at music making and at selling tickets. We've played 9 shows and how many people have fully witnessed us?i could honestly say maybe about. 50 people?? bah. Supernova. No one stuck around to see our set. AGAIN....sigh...thanks supernova we sure are getting publicized!!!lol @the winnersI saw both Side Project and Vulgar Manor.very LOUD. too bad for Absolute Zero they sold 15 tickets and had a great audience of 7 people?Vulgar Manor was over there set time. they broke the supernova rules. and..Third place is exactly what they deserve. This is the best Christmas gift i could ever have. The realization that the music we create, isn't good enough. The realization that SKILL and TALENT is not a factor in the Winner. THE Realization if we actually paid supernova 500$ and say. ya we sold 50 tickets. *insert smug look here* we would obviously WIN. While Absolute Zero watches from the sidelines, we learn. we absorb the true reality of what today's music society actually is. Its ANGRY. its FAST. ITS FUCKIN HEAVY. WE watched as little kids with CROWDS of 80 people SCREAM there name get picked for winners. When all they sing and write about is how they totally got HIGH the day before. Absolute Zero feels like they have done NOTHING at all, they haven't even been told, HEY, nice songs. HEY i liked your set. ROCK n ROLL .well we understand that difference and irregularity are the way to go. Sadly i cannot PLAY my guitar at the speed and swiftness Of most of todays INDIE bands. This Show Absolute Zero also learned that they Shouldn't DARE play another show Until they learn how to USe double kick pedals. learn to fuckin scream into the mic on top of your lungs shouting the same WORD like DIEEEEEEEEEE orr PAINNNNN.They need to up the music skill by increasing the SPEED of the music. They need to learn how to make songs with INTENSE BEATS LIKE FINGER PICKING AND JUST EXTREME DISTORTION. they also need to learn that, ticket sales are a HUGE MOTher fuckin part of supernova.as u can tell. we are very displeased, not with you but with ourselves.WE suck and we now understand.thank you and good night.- Absolute Zero
