Must make a shout out to my boys in 85 East for a solid performance on Sunday night to close out the evening. I heard these guys rock it out in the past, but this show was tight, excellent songs and the guys in the band truly gelled together. This was a very good performance, and I would rate them towards the top of the day. I can't wait for their next show!!

The bands were for the most part were good at the Sound Academy. However, the setlist was tight, sound amazing, and Backhanded Compliment rocked the day! I have seen and heard this band from the beginning and I do believe that they have what it takes to make a mark on the music scene. Cudos to the guys in the band, as I heard no less than 12 bands at the Sound Academy on June 22nd, and Backhanded Compliment was definitely one of th best of the day and one if not the most original sounding! What a fresh and upcoming band, i look forward to many more shows in the near future! You guys ROCK>>>>!@

I've been attending 85east performances for quite some time. These young men have talent, heart and determination, they always have fun on stage. They are good performers and they are genuinely entertaining. They are writing new music, I hope to se them back soon.
