Backhanded Compliment

Phantom had long felt the need for musical self-expression, but had yet to find an artistic match. The music that filled his soul, and his own development, inspired him to create and express himself through these very means: Metal Music. Jon Doe had been the leading creative force behind earlier projects, even though he never felt a strong musical bond with his band mates. After working with Skarekr0e, a blood relative, he became aware of his own potential. Dante had long aspired to create music, but was discouraged by earlier experiences of disappointment. The lack of dedication with which other projects had been organised had left a lot to be desired. He was waiting for devotion. Skarekr0e had been a part of both group and solo projects, feeding his need to perform. Music is what drives him. After completing a demo with Jon Doe, Skarekr0e knew that this is with whom his musical self-expression would be best complimented. Two years ago, these four fiends shared a common need for creation, dedication and expression. “Backhanded Compliment” is the product of this need. Music has deranged our minds, and now our eyes are open. We make what we like, and no one can stop us.
